Early Morning:
Well, today the majority of my Star Trek/Heroes stuff arrived from various e-bay sellers! Woo-bloody-hoo!
Loving it all! Various autographed piccies, magazines and the 2 autographed trading cards - Jack Coleman and Zachary Quinto. Yay! Doing happy dance as I took them from our Posty (nice man). It absolutely poured down with rain this morning - poor postman was soaking wet. Still, I refrained from 'singing in the rain', it was just 'signing in the rain' today.
Opened up my goodies, grinned like a maniac and then went back to bed as I didn't get to sleep until 6:30am this morning. I hate that!
Early Afternoon:
My iPod arrived!!! Double-bloody-woo-bloody-hoo!!! No-one is allowed to touch it, under penalty of broken fingers. My little one is scratched (iPod here, not kids!) across the screen, so it's sad. However, it will still be used for music, just not watching videos and/or films. "I will love him, I will pet him and I will call him George." Just in case anyone's unsure - this is what the Abominable snowman said to/about Bugs Bunny in an old, a very, very old cartoon. Actually, that was why one of my rabbits was called George - he was a total sweetie, sadly no longer with me. Not going down that road of sadness right now. Ooh, I digress.
Okay, so in a mo, I shall be sorting out George and the newbie! What to add, what to remove... good god what has my life come too?? I'm such a geek! Ha!
Following on from yesterday, I still have pains in nose
and now my face, plus no signs of blood! It's annoying me and I can't
wear my glasses because it's uncomfortable. Apologies for this, I'm
having a quick moan.
Still, life goes on. It's my Dad's 74th birthday tomorrow - he doesn't look his age, come to think of it, neither does my Mum look her age. I think that the we (me & 2 sisters) have inherited their 'not looking as old as we actually are' genes. Which is a good thing. Actually I don't look like either of my sisters - they're both fair and have blue-green and green eyes, I'm darker with dark eyes. It's weird, but it's true. One of my sister's and I were asked if we had the same father! We fell about laughing, but the person who asked the question realised just how badly that could have been taken and was very embarrassed and pink in the cheeks!
Okay, time to go and charge up the newbie and transfer files to/from George.
Happier day today! xx
