One of the Kakarikis in the outdoor aviary, Peri, is poorly.  She's on anti-biotics now.  She's still eating and drinking, so that's a good sign, so is the fact that Patchett (her long-time buddy) isn't showing any signs or symptoms.  Hopefully Patchett won't either!

Currently watching Lawrence of Arabia and wondering how the hell they got away with putting that seriously bad fake nose on Anthony Quinn!

Well, I was seriously side-tracked for a while there.

Okay, going to go off on a rant here.  Why?  Because I can. Advertisements on the television:
"Text your postcode" - Who the hell does that crap??  I have never EVER known anyone to do this.
Debt consolidation: Stop profiting off of people's misfortunes, you vultures. People, word of advise for this sort of thing "Read the small print"
"Been hurt in an accident that wasn't your fault" - Bloody ambulance chasing gits.
"Because you're worth it!" - Total, utter and absolute bollocks.  Do you have any idea what this company does?  It's called animal testing, and it's unethical and utterly cruel, it's well documented.  Want less wrinkles? Simple, find a company that doesn't test it's products on animals.
Adverts for anything made of/with chocolate: I'm allergic to milk, so these get on my nerves too - I miss chocolate!!!!
Adverts with cheese: see above.  I miss cheese!!!!
Adverts for bread: Allergy to wheat/barley.  God I miss bread.

I miss cheese on toast, pizza, sandwiches, chocolate, hot chocolate with whipped cream, oh god I could go on for hours about the food I miss.  Okay that's it, enough of the self pity and basically enough masochism here too.

Ooh, Winter X-Games!  I would love to learn how to snowbard! Actually make that snowBOARD.  Snowbard???  Someone who sits in snow and writes poetry, methinks.

My middle nephew has seen me attempt to skateboard and he saved me from breaking my neck/back.  He looked shocked and more than slightly embarrassed! Life's cruel, isn't it!! hehe.

Ordered new iPod today as old one is full up and I keep having to remove stuff that I don't want to really remove.  I'm due some money, so that's what's paid for it!

Ouch, snowboarding Dude's just fallen smack on his ass!  Ouchie, big ouchie.

OMG, they're advertising Gatorade over here now.  Flipping through channels and found Law and Order: SVU.  Love that programme.  My bird's named after Elliot Stabler!  No, he's not called Stabler. Chris Meloni - loved him in Oz too.
