Jammies Day

Had an awful night/morning. Worked well in to the early hours - which I find is a lot easier than trying to work during the day - finally got to sleep around 6:30am but was plagued by bloody nightmares again. This sometimes happens if I forget to take certain medication, but I was up to date and haven't missed anything.
So bad did I feel, that when I eventually dragged my carcass out of bed, I didn't actually get dressed to do my work today.
That's why today is a Jammies day. I'm lucky that I work at home, otherwise I would have been sent home for being inappropriately dressed. Ha!
Even though weird day, I've managed to get quite a lot done, yay! Still got a hell of a lot to do though, but I'm employed and that's making me a happy bunny.
Ooh, talking of Bunnies, my youngest rabbit Bonnie, is a total grumpy-pugs again. She's what some would call a 'mean bunny'. She can be aggressive, territorial, nervous, but also very loving - on her terms! She also loves to play, but she can get carried away and it can be frightening, if you don't know quite what this big brown/grey and white Old English Spot is doing! She growls a lot too.
Now her companion, Mr Biggles, is as laid back as they get. He's a rescue rabbit and can be quite nervous of things. He used to be called Wriggles at the rescue centre - he hates to be picked up - but we got him a couple of years ago around about Remembrance Sunday, hence Biggles! He doesn't mind having his nails clipped, inasmuch as he won't go for you the minute you put him back on the floor. Whereas Bonnie will turn around, growl and run at you! Sometimes it's pure bluff, because if you actually stand your ground, she just runs into you (no biting), you'll end up with a little bunny-spit on your trousers/boots/shoes, but that's about it. No teeth marks/bruises/bleeding. I've had all of those!
You can't actually shout "Bad bunny" at her, as she turns around and runs at you growling! I've been told by some that I should have her put down - much to my dismay.
There's no way in hell I would do that. She is an individual, the same way that no two people are the same, no two rabbits are the same. I've had rabbits for most of my life and she is the first and only rabbit to ever behave in this way. She's my responsibility - she didn't ask to be chosen by me - I chose her, so it's my "pleasure" to look after her. Biggles and Bonnie are totally inseparable, if one is poorly and needs vet care, the other one has to go with them!
I also have a young cockatiel called Elliot. He's noisy and loves to be cuddled. He's had his flight feathers clipped (NOT BY ME) and he's a bit cack-handed/winged at flying at the moment. I've never had any of the bird's wings clipped, so it was a bit of a shock to see this. He was hand reared and he's a bit 'precious' about some things. Loves to be hand fed!!
I had a female cockatiel called Maddie who was also hand reared. She sadly died 25th Nov 08, she was only 8 - I was devastated, as this is rather young for a cockatiel. I miss her dreadfully.
Elliot isn't a replacement, but he fills a small part of the gap in my heart that Maddie left.
Ooh, feel sad now. Not good. Can't talk about her anymore for now.
Will try to be more controlled next time. Also I'll write a little more about why I'm the way I am! hehehe
